WOMEN’S BASIC PISTOL

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This class is geared toward women that are beginning their journey with handguns. Students will receive an introduction to the basics of handgun safety, how to safely clear (unload) a semi-automatic pistol; an explanation and demonstration of the seven basic fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting, fortified by drills, and practical exercises in a classroom environment. The student will then put into practice what they have learned in the classroom on the live fire shooting range. Successful completion of this course will prepare them for the Women’s Intermediate Pistol.

In this introduction module, the students will be introduced to the basics of handgun safety, including how to safely clear (unload) a semi-automatic pistol.  The lesson is rounded out by taking those basics and putting them into practice both in the classroom and on the shooting range. This lesson will act as a building block as the student progresses to Women’s Intermediate Pistol.

• 50 rounds of ammunition
• 2 spare magazines/speed loaders
• Outside the Waistband Holster
• Closed Toe Shoes or Boots

• Water/Snacks
