SAFETY FIRST!
GETTING OFF THE “X” is NOT as simple as one may imagine. It requires training. If you have not trained to do it, there is no input that suggests you should! During a critical or violent encounter, remember, you are not the only one moving defensively or offensively! If you haven’t trained to move, then you won’t move! If you don’t move, the chances of you needing emergency medical care are incredibly high! You must train your mind and train your body to respond to input into your neuropathways. Train, and practice your training. It’s not a one-time fix! It requires repetition and regularity! Do not trick yourself into believing that you will do something in an emergency that you have never perfected through training and practice. Don’t be… that guy!

UNIVERSAL SAFETY RULE No. 1
Treat all guns as if they are always loaded, and always perform a clearance check every time you pick it up.
UNIVERSAL SAFETY RULE No. 2
Never point your gun at anything you are not willing to destroy.
UNIVERSAL SAFETY RULE No. 3
Keep your finger OFF of the trigger and outside of the trigger guard until you are on target and have made the decision to shoot.
UNIVERSAL SAFETY RULE No. 4
Always be sure of your target and what's beyond it.
